A Competition Reception will be held

(for Viewing and Voting*)

Saturday, April 6th from 2- 4pm

at the

Truro Community Center Recreation Lounge

Theme: Capture the essence of Truro: its beauty, charm, and unique character.

Compensation: While we cannot offer monetary compensation,
 the winning artist will receive prominent name credit in the guidebook
 and be promoted via all of the Chamber’s platforms.

Runners-up will also be promoted!

  • Artists are invited to submit one piece of artwork for consideration.

  • Please note your work will be photographed and scaled to fit the Guidebook dimensions

    (5 ½ x 8 ½ Portrait Orientation)

    Artwork Installation & Voting:

  • Artwork must be self-hung at the designated location in the Truro Community Center
    on Friday, April 5th, 2024 between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

  • Voting will be open for a one-week period ending at 1pm on Friday April 12th

  • Artists are responsible for taking down their artwork on Friday, April 12th, 2024 between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm from the Truro Community Center.

Disclaimer:

The Truro Chamber of Commerce does not assume responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur to artwork while on display at the Town of Truro Community Center: By entering this competition, the artist agrees to hold harmless the Truro Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Truro from any claims arising from damage or loss of their artwork while displayed at the Community Center. The artist acknowledges that they are responsible for the safe installation and removal of their artwork.

Voting is open to all active Truro Chamber of Commerce Members and Friend Members

To become a Member or Friend Member, please visit our Members page and submit your payment prior to the reception.

In the event of a tie, the Truro Chamber Of Commerce Board of Directors will make the final decision.
